No, you aren't missing
one of your update reports. The payroll disbursements register that
is created with update has a new description. The name of the report
you'll now see is UPD - FINAL CHECK REGISTER.
All the report detail is still the same. The information contained
on this report includes all check numbers, the employee the check
belongs to, the liability amount, and whether or not it was a live
check, a direct deposit, a voided check, or a manual check. Additionally, each column total on the UPD - FINAL CHECK REGISTER
report will tie to that specific item on the UPD - CASH ACTIVITY
REPORT.
You don't have to ask for any of these reports. You automatically
get them with every payroll run! Feel free to contact your
Ascentis Payroll Customer Support Representative with
any questions regarding your standard update reports.
Master File Part I: 2 hours -

Rate, Deductions, Retirement Plans and Standards screen of the

This course covers the fields and features located
on the Other Pays, Position & Distribution, Supplemental, Vacation,

Custom Screen tabs of the master file. This includes the File,
Screens, & Help tool bar, the Emp Notes option, the Inquire Only
box, and the Save, Close, Next Employee, command buttons, and “Keep

This course picks up where Part I and Part II left
off. The class begins with an overview of the payroll processing
cycle. Next the step-by-step process is covered including Merging,
Calculating, reviewing TAX reports, making changes in the Merged
Transaction journal, Limited Range of Print, Creating Checks,
reviewing CHK reports, Reprint, Update, reviewing UPD reports. To

InstaWriter Part I - Writing sample
wizard reports: 2.5 hours -

This class is ideal for new clients and those new to
using the report writer. This class will show you how to write
simple master file and wage reports using an easy and efficient
report writing tool called the Report Wizard. Some of the most
commonly used tools will also be covered including filters,

InstaWriter Part II - Report
writing using Design Mode: 2.5 hours -

It is recommended that you have attended InstaWriter
Part I or already have an understanding of InstaWriter prior to
attending this class. This course will teach you how to write more
complex reports that include custom designed fields, calculations or
formulas. To begin with the class will go over how to create
Conditional Fields, and Data Base Fields. The bulk of the class time
is spent writing several custom reports that fall under the
